"We arrived right at check in time and waited a long time in line. We stayed on the 6th floor of the West Wing and the roof was leaking. The hallway wasn't cleaned the entire weekend with pizza boxes and coffee creamers just sitting on the floors and used disposable gloves and crumbs. The hotel had a trash can collecting water for a whole stay that it never emptied. The room isn't the cleanest. It looked like the corners or behind the furniture hadn't been cleaned in forever. "Fire drill went off at 1:15am, entire hotel evacuated. Not an explanation nor and apology from the hotel management whatsoever. In fact they refused any type of compensation and were very defensive and rude about it."

"The water park is pretty miss. The hot tub doesnt even have jets for your back… just on your legs. The lazy river is very shallow. The slides are pretty boring."

"The hotel is basically average overall but is relatively well located. The breakfast was also ok, nice that it’s included but still pretty average. There was an issue for three days with regards to the Wi-Fi that was never dealt with appropriately and which staff did not appear to address very proactively. There likely are better options for hotels than this one in Sandusky and it’s not even that inexpensive for a Canadian traveler."

"There’s no way that this place should have a 9.0 score on the Expedia app. This place was an absolute dump. They must have been scamming reviews or something there’s no other explanation. For the price I paid I feel like I got totally scammed."

"Very cute little property! My family was happy with the stay. Staff was accommodating and check in and out was quick. The cottages are very cute, a bit weathered on the exterior by the lake, but overall nice. The cottage could have been cleaned a bit better, but not bad for a camping experience. The grounds were pretty and cottage worked for my family. We overall enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back."

"1st - there is no "front desk", but I was VERY fortunate one of the cleaning staff was there to unlock my door after I was about to leave and left my phone on the tv area. I was freaking out. I don't know what I would've done if they weren't around. 2nd - you can't beat the location to Cedar Point. 3rd - they remodeled this very well. "Boutique hotel at the main corner heading into Cedar Point. A unique, well-thought out hospitality experience. Great tasteful, themed decor in the rooms. The hotel is integrated into an entertainment complex with restaurant, bar, bowling alley, and other amenities. We loved it and highly recommend!"
