"We booked the junior suite at the Strand Hotel at the last minute through Expedia after we decided to travel to the Skeleton Coast on a whim. Don’t miss this hotel! It was worth every penny. "No doubt, for our family, this was the best hotel of our vacation in Namibia (and we stayed in some excellent ones). "Excellent staff. Food was delicious. Apparently the place is getting some renovations in 2026; I hope I get to see what they do with it! We stayed here on our way from Sossusvlei to Windhoek. Debated on whether we should, but so glad we did. We went on the cave paintings drive with Johan and it was one of the highlights of our time in Southern Africa. It was the perfect way to break up the drive and truly appreciate our surroundings. Would 100% go back!"
