"We arrived at the hotel after about 20 hours of travel, only to find out they had overbooked and we didn’t have a room. The staff was very friendly and apologetic. The manager arranged for us to stay at another hotel and comped the room. She also offered transportation. I must say the manager turned a bad situatuon into something positive. It’s how they reacted to the situation that gives the service *****!"

"Very nice and clean rooms located in a great part of downtown. It’s the perfect basecamp and easy to get in and out of (whether exploring the city on foot or trekking out to Denali, etc.). We will def. be staying here again in the future!"

"We were a little disappointed in the building and some features. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a barbecue going on the afternoon when we arrived and it was rather chaotic. The coffee pot did not work in the room but was replaced when we went down to desk ( once to report and second to determine if a replacement was available/ coming). "The place was fine, the staff was excellent. But the only reason I made the reservation was a belated Mother’s Day for my Mom and she wanted a pool and hot tub. So when it wasn’t working when we wanted to use it, we were very disappointed . I know these things can’t be helped usually but it would’ve been nice to have been offered a discount or refund d so we could’ve gone somewhere else. The price of this hotel was substantially more than many others I could’ve booked. But the staff was...

"The hotel looks old. Bathtub has a broken faucet that is terribly hard to turn off. No fridge in the room. The room is clean and they kept windows open whenever they can so the air is fresh inside. Parking is hard to find especially during the weekend. "
