"We booked two rooms together on single booking, expecting rooms to be together as it’s single booking. Both rooms were allocated in completely different area on a different floor. When we checked in late, the person on the reception desk specifically mentioned breakfast is available till 10am. In the morning the same person started to put away breakfast at 9am, even after requesting him at 9:01am to make just one waffle for kids he didn’t allow and put away waffle maker. When confronted him that...

"I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"The property grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple cottages, gardens, lakes, and outside seating areas by the water. Harry's Restaurant on site has great food and a lovely outdoor seating area where you can watch the ducks, geese and white swans float by. Unfortunately, the lodging in the main two-story building is nothing special and does not match the exquisite property. We had just a one-night stay so didn't get to use the amenities and activities."

"This is a nice little hotel. Decent rooms and they were very clean. The staff was incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming. I don't think he could turn a smile off if he tried. This is a great hotel."

"The girl at the desk when I checked in was great but the guy when I checked out acted like I was bothering him. The room wasn’t very clean to the point where I had my shoes on the whole time. I used wipes to clean the bathroom down before I used it and I needed a lot and they were very gross when I put them in the trash. Towels smelled like they used way too much bleach to clean them."

"Stopped here randomly just to break up our 12 hour drive. The beds were comfortable for what we needed. Only thing I saw that wasn't great was there were some kind of (dead) flying bugs in the bathroom sink when we arrived. We rinsed the sink out though and didn't see any more of them or any living ones so maybe just needed to be wiped out after pest control had sprayed or whatever. All in all the stay worked for what we needed."

"If you don’t buy into that big hotel minimalist esthetic, then Twi-Light Motel is for you. Clean, newly renovated, friendly staff, we slept so well and walked to Melting Pot Pizza and Knotty Pine Diner for breakfast. Their flowers and garden are beautiful."
