"We traveled down to Gambia to attend a funeral seremoni and chose to stay at cape point hotell since that was familiar to us and the first hotel we ever stayed at in Gambia! It was a good choice! We lived next to family in Bakau and were well taken care off by the staff! They were there whenever we needed help and they were very supportive and service minded during our entire stay! All in all a good trip with a lot of new friends! We will definately be back! ☺️"

"What to say! This was a last minute booking which totally changed the feel of our trip. A haven of peace and tranquility. Such welcoming friendly staff and owners. Very helpful on the accommodation front. We could not have asked for more. Half an hour'ish walk to the beach through the wetlands or taxis to go further. A very peaceful safe area. "This place is a dump. They have a pool that doesn't work, a stove with no connection, no fitted sheets on the bed, no towels, provide no extra linens for child and things bite you while you sleep....not mosquitoes either. The staff is very rude and aggressive. The manager hides when there is a problem and send repeated messages through staff staying that she is aware of the problem but fails to provide a solution. I had to walk around with my bags in a foreign country on my first visit.... child...
