"So our experience went like this....checked in early around 1:00 pm and was greeted by a solicitation for money by a vagrant in the back of the parking lot. He was just sitting in the back patio. Then a couple with 3 kids sits back there and starts smoking marijuana. This part of Gastonia is such a classy place! The hotel/room is a pig with lipstick on. It's falling apart but they have unsuccessfully tried to hide the age and deterioration."

"Never checked in. Was told pool was unavailable. One of the reasons for choosing this property was they had a pool. Clerk said our card would not be charged. IT WAS CHARGED. STILL WAITING ON REFUND!!"

"Nasty with a capital 'N'. The property looks like it had a recent renovation but the room and common areas, elevator, etc were so dirty and smelled terrible. The floor in our room was sticky, walls had streaks of grime running down them, bad smell. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Elevator was dirty, grimy. The access door on the side of the building was broken so it was open and unlocked. Would not stay there again, not even for a night passing through. Many other hotels...
