"Great location. We walked everywhere but there are also trams to get you around. Definitely recommend a room with a view of Parliament Building across the other side of the river. Make sure to book your tickets for that well in advance or go to the ticket office at 8:00am where there are limited tickets for that day. "Vi är mycket nöjda med Hotell Oktogon! Så vackert i entrén och Hotell-lobbyn! Trevligt bemötande och god service. Även nöjda med rummet som kändes fräscht och välstädat. Bra läge på hotellet att utgå ifrån till olika sevärdheter. Sista morgonen åt vi frukost på hotellet som var god och det var fint att sitta och äta där."

"Ao chegar tivemos que aguardar vagar o quarto que só aconteceu as 15:00. No caso não estão errados, pois sabemos o horário do check in. Sò comentando que nao conseguimos entrar antes. Fomos surpreendidos com uma chapange visto que era anivrsario de casamento. Café maravilhoso. Quarto muito bom. Banheiro excelente. Tivemos duas intercorrencias. 1. "The Emerald Hotel is an excellent standard. It was opened around 2021 and has modern facilities and is well equipped. It is beautifully clean and the bathrooms maybe the best we've seen. Great power showers, choice of sprays, very clean and endless hot water, heavenly! The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. It's in a great location for shopping and accessing the tourist sights. All of which are walkable. I can't recommend highly enough! We had a wonderful stay!"

"Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, fine fellesområder, og god beliggenhet. Var blitt oppgradert til en annet rom med balkong noe som var supert da aircondition ikke virket da vi var der. God plass til oppbevaring på rommet. Lite bad, som fylles med vann når en dusjer da sluket ikke tar unna vannet. litt lite sittemuligheter på rommet. Ikke vært borti en hardere seng før, og putene kunne vært byttet ut. Lytt fra gaten, og fra gangen. God frokost, men litt lite sitteplasser i forhold til antall...
