"The rooms are not as advertised. I booked a sea and pool view room but could not see either as there was a huge tree outside the balcony blocking the view. It is advertised as having free wifi but there is no wifi anywhere apart from in reception. They said they were upgraded it but there was none to upgrade.They were in the process of installing it. "We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful and so friendly. Rooms were big and had both fan and AC. We had a room facing the road and it was quite loud bout with earplugs it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was amazing, fruit, porridge, eggs, pancakes etc. Locations was also good, away from busy crowds but only a short walk to more restaurants and shops. Pool was clean and taken care of. I would definitely recommend to stay here. "

"This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony.
