"This is an older motel & some updating could be done but for the one night it was great. Randy at check in was very nice and the indoor pool was a HUGE hit with our granddaughter. "I don’t know if this hotel was actually open or not. It looked like it was either being demolished or renovated, it was hard to tell. There was a desk I assumed was for check in but after numerous attempts to check in & to find an employee without success I left and got a room at another hotel. I’m never going to pay in advance again!!!"

"Needed a room for my mom in law later in the evening and they were close to Torrington. Decent reviews so I sent her there but made the reservation after 9.. Small print said they don't answer the door after 9...she tried to get an answer fr 20 minutes and didn't get a response so had to send my 76 year old M-I-L down the road to a chain hotel. $55 down the drain."
