"Beautiful old lodge and a nice place to stay for one night. The surroundings are lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be to make sure the bathroom curtains are cleaned, as they could use some attention."

"The entry was clean! The room was not! I was happy that I purchased a sleeping bag because the bed had hair in between the sheets and cover! The A/C blew out - well it was not pleasant!! The carpet CRUNCHED!!! The shower and bath combo 😂 should be replaced with a shower esp as I nearly slipped getting out! I don’t use hotel towels ever so couldn’t be helpful with that info! So no stars for this location!! Best Western Plus-Bayshore Inn was a lot better!"

"Dirty room with stains on the blanket.. place was warn out, floor in hallway was bubbled up, there was only one entrance from the parking lot and our room was as far away as possible! Breakfast consisted of toast, waffles and cold cereal.. we won’t stay there again."

"We were passing through Eureka on our way to the Avenue of the Giants in the Redwood National and State Parks. We did not expect the Clarion hotel in this small city to rival a 5 stars hotel of a major city. The staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, everything were in proper working order, and the anemities were second to none. We were impressed and appreciative of such pleasant and comfortable place. "Loved the suite we rented. Having a special needs son and a service dog, as well as a terminally ill husband, it was nice to have separate rooms in the hotel room space. It gave my son time to decompress and my husband a spot to get plenty of rest. The staff was also kind when I requested another set of clean bedding almost at midnight. The room was clean and area was quiet. We will definitely stay here again."
