"We had a lovely room in the Gildhall; it was spacious and clean. We would have liked a microwave and table as the room was listed as having a kitchenette. I’m not sure whether we were advised as to the separate location and the number of stairs. The grounds were lovely and the pool and spa were wonderful. Some the exteriors of the buildings looked like they needed spray washing to remove the cobwebs and clean the windows."

"The staff was great: Mark at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and renovated. The location of the motel is noisy when you’re outside but fine in the room. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. Service was very good. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very inviting after I had a chance to swim in the lake. The place was very quiet."

"If location is what you are after then this has a great one, right on the square, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel is very dated, rooms are small. They did have certain items in the them that helped, a fridge and a small microwave however no coffee maker and the continental breakfast that was being offered did not start until 8:30, and it was showing that the coffee maker was out of order. So for a morning coffee drinker not helpful."

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a great plus during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful detail of having coffee available for the coffee maker.
