"We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with...

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. "Our experience with this stay was our favorite. The proprietor was so nice, very willing and happy to share his love of the place and how much he loved making the property sustainable. We would stay there again for sure. Our one regret was that we only stayed one night. Oliviiet helped us get a reservation at a beautiful restaurant near the chateau and kept in touch with us to make sure we got there. A truly lovely man and gentleman.
