"This quaint little motel was tucked away with walking distance to shops and dining and just a few miles from the main strip and beautiful creek with parking, trails and picnic areas. The staff were so very nice. A simple stay and we enjoyed it very much."

"The property was clean, beautiful, and close to shops and restaurants. We loved sitting on our balcony and front deck area overlooking the river. Staff were friendly. We arrived at 3:30pm but were told check-in was at 4pm even though their website says 3. It was 4:15 when we were allowed to get in our room. That was a little annoying. They need to update the check-in time on their website. There was also no decaf coffee either morning. We told the staff but no reason given. My sister had to go...

"Location very good. Employees friendly and helpful. Definately needs some updating of rooms. No ice machine, had to ask fir ice but employees were gracious. Breakfast was ok, cold cereal, rolls, coffee, juice, bananas"

"This was a great location on our way through Maggie Valley. The outdoor area and live band on a Saturday night was a perfect way for us to end our day. The staff in the location was great. Would definitely stay again."

"The location is close to Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and accomidating. The grounds were well maintained and landscaped beautifully. Our only issue was there seemed to be a lot of mold on the shower walls. The bathroom always smelled moldy. We were in room 212."

"Tired property. Room had a very musty smell. They did have an air purifier and dehumidifier in the room but the musty odor hit you the minute you entered. Mattress seemed old and was uncomfortable. On the plus side the room included a small fridge and in room coffee. The property had a nice restaurant on-site."

"Very clean renovated room. Close to River, and downtown area. Eas 3 minute drive to Casino. Located on a side road next to Church. Easy access and plenty of parking. Will stay again."

"The staff was nice and welcoming. I didn’t like that the room charges were doubled and I had to wait to get funds back. The property was overgrown and the grounds were not very well kept. The restaurant is closed and completely grown over. Location is good for the price."

"Took over 3 hrs of waiting to get our room. Upon receiving a call from the front desk after 6pm, we were delayed again because issued room still was not cleaned and smelled like cigarette smoke . Given a second room that had a broken a/c unit, finally a 3rd got us in. "
