"Second time staying here and honestly I love it. Super clean and the priority they give the customers is outstanding. We had family come from different states and this was perfect because everyone had enough space and it was very family friendly. The scenery is beautiful and close to so many stores. I would recommend to stay here for any occasion!"

"This is actually a timeshare vacation resort. My wife and I purchased one of the original units back in 1997 and after 15 years and not needing it anymore. Gave it away to a relative. I needed a place to stay in Williamsburg while visiting a brother. I knew of this place so I rented it. It is just as nice today as it was 30 years ago. I was very satisfied"

"Most of the staff we met were very pleasant, but the checkin person was unhelpful. I was unhappy that the hefty “resort fee” had been hidden in fine print, adding significantly to the cost of the room. When I asked why we were being charged such a fee, the check-in clerk’s reply was “we charge everyone” — not a helpful answer. This encounter left a bad impression on me, and while I like to support Colonial Williamsburg, I won’t stay in one of their hotels again. I also think Expedia should...

"We loved everything about it. The only thing that would have made it a little nicer was if the bed was more comfortable but the stay was great!"

"Hotel is pet friendly because we were traveling with two small dogs. Hence we were put on the “pet friendly” floor. Our floor smelled so horrible. Not from animal or dog smell but from awful food smell. Besides the horrible smelling 3rd floor, everything else was good, especially the front desk staff"

"We had a great time!! Golf, the Spa, The Mill for breakfast and James Landing Grill (Jasmin our server was the BEST) were all great. We had 3 massages and a facial and they were all excellent. Only criticism I can give is when checking in, the girl checking us in seemed lost. I asked a few questions and she didn’t know. She went to find us the answer and could not give us an answer. She told us about same at James Landing but couldn’t tell us what time. We purchased our room and then golf. We...

"The resort was fun, clean, and spacious. My children loved the pool, play room and all entertainment. Truly recommend for family with young children."

"Breakfast buffet was ok. Had the basics. Carpet in room and hallway needs a little love. Stayed in the sweet. Corner jetted tup was a life saver and the room was spacious. Front desk personnel were kind and helpful"

"Clean, quiet, very large and comfortable space."

"The picture showed the hot tub still being there but they took the hot tub out and that was the only reason I paid the ridiculous price for one night it’s not worth that much money a night."

"Bugs in the room. Needs to have an exterminator."

"The breakfast was delicious! If the three of us had eaten out, it would have cost $60, not including the tip. They also gave you two cocktails and afternoon snacks!"

"The fountain at the property’s entrance is nice although dated like the rest of the property. There was no light in the entryway to the hotel room, no bathroom fan, no wash clothes and no bath mat. The room carpet was old and dingy and the bedding was very lightweight. The heater was old and the settings were difficult to adjust. There was also a slight burning smell every time the heater was turned on. The property was nicely decorated for Halloween and the dining area looked clean but the...
