"This property is so unique and the concept of converting cabooses into rooms was genius. We had a wonderful two night stay. We stayed in “The Gatsby” caboose, which has a deck out front overlooking clear lake. The deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and our evening cocktail. "The setting on the lake were incredible, the rooms are pretty tired, and could use updating. They front desk lady gave me an upgrade which was very good. The front desk lady also charged me $4 extra because she said expedia doesnt pay their fees, not sure what that was all about but have never run into that issue before. "

"The check in staff member was nice and friendly, but after she left the rest of employees were short and loud due to being disturbed from their computer screen. This was my first time visiting this Best Western in Clear Lake. As a member I've never been denied a continental breakfast. The food was being prepared for a church group only and had a closed sign outside the door. Luckily I found breakfast a cross the street at Grandpa's Cafe. It's a shame to give this Best Western a lacking review...
