"When i got to my room there was a wasp in the window. I went to the desk and asked if they would take care of it. They were going to switch my ro i said no thats ok i was just wanting it removed. Im allergic to them so the staff came and kindly removed it for me."

"Overall if you are looking for a budget hotel this one is good. It did have a weird smell like old maybe. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good."

"The hotel is undergoing a rennovation. Dust everywhere. The staff is not properly trained to navigate the situation in the hotel. Our room had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the carpet, a refrigerator that did not work, linens that did not match-each bed was different, baseball trading cards in the bag that housed the dryer, and staff at the front desk who were not trained to handle these situations when approached by them. Would not stay here again until the rennovation is...

"The hotel was nice and relatively clean. It was noticed that it was beat up a little: scrapes and scratches on the walls, dents in the walls, corners of walls were damaged, stains on walls, etc. But overall it was clean and well kept - could probably use a little TLC. Staff was helpful, polite and engaging. Breakfast was standard. Beds were hard."

"Breakfast, staff and parking were all fine. The room was not what we expected. It was not particularly clean; the bathroom tiles were loose, the toilet has black substance around the rim of the bowl. The bedframe had dirt and debris in it. The carpet in the elevators was stained and torn. The room we were given was a handicap room even though we did not make that request or need it."

"Everything was fine. There were a couple of oily handprints that looked like Housekeeping had touched a table and the bedspread with cleaner on their hands. But otherwise everything was good."

"This is the only hotel in mount vernon so you don't have another option if you want to be near cornell college campus. A couple of things to point out are....they do not have any gf breakfast options other then scrambeled eggs and those are not always good,so plan ahead. The rooms are not always really clean,as mine didnt look like it had been vacuumed during my very recent stay. The on-site washer and dryer are old and do not run efficiently. The staff are always pleasant however."

"I was unable to stay in this room and they would not refund me. I have called the insurance I purchased too and they will not refund me. The room was ground floor, window would not close all the way and there was no lock on the window. As a solo female traveler I felt this was unsafe. Especially since the desk did not appear to monitored at night and the front door had a lock you needed to access with key card. The room also had an odd odor."
