"The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very very clean, has an issue with the first room we was in but they had no problem fixing it for us"

"Everyone was friendly and helpful!! Also very clean!! The free popcorn and snacks/food and drink discount was a plus!!!❤️"

"The room was nicely appointed and the hot bath fabulous. I wish they had a pool"

"Superb stay. Modern everything, pet friendly (with a fee). Great pool & hot tub, amazing breakfast, terrific room with large walk-in shower & large TV. Best stay ever, lacking nothing. I’m spoiled now, others don’t compare, lol."

"The bathroom needed care. The bathtub had mold around the edge, and the water spout was attached to a pipe that stood out of the wall about an inch. It seemed odd to see bare pipe sticking out of the wall."

"I really, really liked the staff. He was so nice and personable. The property is older and could use some sprucing up but it was still clean and the bed was very comfortable. I also loved that it was quiet. I would definitely stay again."

"The 1857 is a great hotel situated conveniently in the heart of Downtown Paducah. It’s within easy walking distance to Freight House, the Quilt Museum, and anything else you should experience in this wonderful town. The modern hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff is fantastic as well. Highly recommended!"

"It was cleaned and nice, but a little further from highway than expected."

"Great rooms, staff and breakfast. Cookies and milk in the evening add a special touch. We’ve stayed at this motel at least 4 times."

"They advertised an indoor pool. I based my final decision on where to stay. Pool was out of use."

"The linens were stained and there were roaches in the room. The entry and common areas were jammed with replacement furniture."
