"The place was OK, but beware . . .Forgive me if I missed it, but no where on listing did the room choices mention that the bathrooms, & other facilities were communal. Thus our family room was a single room with a queen bed, 2 bunkbeds, and nothing else. There was heat in the room but no A/C, but it was warm the day we stayed, and even with the sliding door open we could get no breeze. Luckily it cooled down overnight. The queen mattress sagged terribly and my wife and I had a hard time...

"Nice place to stay, close to the lake with awesome views, easy walk to shops."

"This is a hostel even though Expedia doesn’t call it a hostel. If you re getting a private room you are subsidizing the people sleeping in bunk rooms and you are overpaying. Our room was listed as a king bed but it was not. There was no drawers or places to put your clothes or your suitcase. Our room was insanely overpriced for what was effectively a 10’x 10’ room with no place to put anything."

"It was good the room was great for the price, I think a microwave or something in the bigger cabin would be ideal, a wee breakfast bar or something but otherwise we loved it"

"The room is smaller than it looks in the photos. All other facilities work well, except the Wi‑Fi signal is quite weak."

"😆"

"Worst place we’ve ever stayed in New Zealand. It’s a cheap accommodation overall. In room 303, the heater didn’t work, the oven was broken, and the view was literally nothing. They provided cheap instant coffee, cheap utensils, a cheap mattress, and cheap pillows. The place is also isolated, with nothing around. I would not recommend it. We let Eddy, the manager, know about all the issues. The only “compensation” offered was a ticket to the theatre — a boring, cheap 30-minute video that they...

"Everything was good. Clean room kitchen bed room and bed was nice and clean. Parking just in front of the door. Took good."

"Great views from our room and also from communal kitchen area and the patio is great. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Parking is limited in front and first in first serve so may have to park in designated areas not to further away. Very much enjoyed our 1 night stay."

"Wow! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The room was absolutely stunning, staff lovely, location second to none and that bed - wow!!!"

"Great experience"

"Nice and clean and friendly staff at check in ."
