"It is hotel for the kids due to the sports and all activities. Don’t expect great service and luxury. The included food is average and only the good food could be found at the restaurants you pay. The staff is not completely fluent in English so if you order something expect receiving the incorrect order for example ordering a drink could be challenging unless is something straight forward like a Beer. The fact that the kids enjoy it balances out a bit. In our opinion given the price it is not...

"Miramare Hotel has a unique style which is quirky, and excellent staff who were always helpful. It is on the 3rd floor accessible by lift or stairs, and perfectly positioned to walk into Cagliari city, or along the harbour. Also within easy walking distance of the station, as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Our room had a harbour view so was perfect to sit at the juliette balcony to people watch and enjoy the comings and goings of the boats. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"Booked VIP suite solely for the private sauna. It can only be operated via touchscreen mounted on the wall, which was not working properly. On a 3 day stay, maintenance and hotel staff members were in our room for two of those days trying to repair it, but ultimately were unsuccessful. We never used the sauna. Aside from that, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the property is very clean and beautiful. Without the sauna issue, I would definitely rate it 5 stars."

"Firstly, the staff were brilliant, they could not have been more helpful. However, we were a little disappointed with the lack of amenities, the pool was closed, a/c unavailable, no drinking glasses, and the plastic cup in the bathroom had calcium residue around its rim. The surface of the desk top was in very poor condition. We did enjoy the use of the free cycles, and the easy availability of the local bus behind the hotel was a bonus.
