"This hotel was so cute and fun! We booked because we loved the look of the whole place and because of the restaurant next to it. It was adorable on the inside and very clean and quiet. The beds were very squeaky but it didn’t bother us. Would book again and again!"

"This place was very clean and bright. The air conditioner worked very well. The bathroom was clean. No bugs. Friendly staff. We didn’t try the breakfast but it looked fine. It’s a little pricy for what you get compared to others in the same parking lot, but if it’s what’s available and if you have to stay, you will still have a good nights sleep. "

"We had the warmest welcome at check-in. Blake was kind, warm and friendly, and really made us feel welcome. The room (two queen beds) was quite small with no closet but the design of the room was efficient with a modern feel—for instance, there was a red pole with hangers in one corner and plenty of aesthetic hooks to hang small bags, etc. Beds and pillows were comfortable. "We stayed at The Barfield for the first time this past Sunday night to break up our drive from Dallas to Angel Fire, NM and really enjoyed the comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. "Great overnight stay! We checked in at midnight and slept so good. The hotel is so nice and clean. It has only been open for ten months. The beds were so comfy, the linens clean and fresh. The breakfast was great! Lots of options for everyone! Coffee good. "
