"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite nice for the price and quite comfortable. Really liked the town of Aalsmeer in which hotel was located. We were staying there to explore a few days before a boat/bike tour out of Amsterdam. Rented bikes from shop in town and spent one day biking the lake and surrounding area, then spent second biking into Amsterdam"

"We were stay 2 nights. In these 2 days, nobody ever cleaned my room. I was very upset with this shocking fact."

"A better breakfast would help. The same architecture in each and every room, with really poor ventilation in the loo make the facility "cheesy", and cheap. Staff are OK, however, likely underpaid and under appreciated. Opening the windows to air the room between guests, or at least once a week might help."

"It was a great property and in an excellent location to all of the museums and sights I was going to see. I did have a little trek from the tram stop to the hotel, I came from the main train station & took the tram. It is a very safe location too, my friend from the area confirmed for me. Room was clean & it does have air conditioning which is awesome."

"They didn’t have irons / ironing boards in the room. When I asked they said they had one in a dusty closet on the fifth floor chained to a radiator. That’s where I ironed my shirt and slacks for a business conference. Absurd."

When I arrived for check-in, the employee did not clearly explain how to get to the first floor or where to take the elevator, which made the arrival confusing. The room was extremely small, much smaller than what was shown in the photos online. It felt cramped and did not match my expectations.
