"Gezellig hotel in heel mooi kader. Jongen aan de check in balie was heel kortaf en niet vriendelijk. Kamers hebben geen water (alles is betalend). Luide muziek in de gang tot 21u en geen gordijnen maar jaloezieën waardoor het niet echt donker wordt op de kamer. Daarnaast is er veel geluidshinder door mensen die op het terras zitten en hoor je alles in de kamer. Raamisolatie kan beter. Ik heb al in veel hotels geslapen maar dit vond ik wel teleurstellend. Net niet goed genoeg om de eerste indruk...

"Window faced a wall"

"It was chaotic. Staff was chaotic. Bags stored for a fee which no other hotel had. Our bags didn’t fit in the bunks and we didn’t want to pay the fee so we upgraded to our own room. It was very nice. Overall nice hotel clean comfortable bed and great location to get into town."

"Property is about 20-25mins walk to main attractions (Centraal station, Dam square, Rembrandtplein, Museumplein) Away from crowd, situated in calmer locality it is an excellent choice for families. It’s right next to a tram station and zoo/acquarium. Our room was spacious and renovated, clean, had all basic amenities. Hotel had a small gym and lobby area was very welcoming with board games. "The room was terribly dirty on arrival , pubic hair on the walls , the soap dispenser by the bathroom sink had what looked like faeces on it , the shower was also dirty and the walls were covered with pink lime scale , the bed I slept on was lobsided and I slept skew all weekend , the carpets are terribly dirty and stained , I didn’t feel comfortable at all and won’t be staying again"
