"Great location. First floor really nice, excellent breakfast, good choices of food. Upstairs, rooms sparse. A topper is placed over the mattress. The mattress is visible, not very hygienic in my opinion. As explained by staff you are sleeping on the topper not on the mattress! Mattress was not covered and was not clean looking."

"Clean room, helpful staff— my only complaint is how hot the room was and a broken shower that only sprayed out extremely hot or cold water. Not the staffs fault tho because I didn’t say anything. Other than that it’s a great distance from the city and in an amazing location."

"We had a lovely stay here as a group of friends. The beds were comfy, the room was so lovely and clean. Really quiet rooms with a good shower. There was a fan in the room and tea making facilities. Tap water is drinkable. We didnt eat there but the drinks were nice in the bar Staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend."

"Monet Gardens Hotel is in a nice residential neighborhood, not in the busiest parts, which we liked. There's not a lot right near the hotel, but the #14 tram can get you to Central Station. We had a double room, canal view - I would ask for a canal view that is closer to the view of the apartments, as opposed to the police station (not particularly scenic). The staff was very friendly and helpful with things like restaurant recommendations, breakfast was very good, the rooms were pretty and...

"Very nice hotel in a quiet area but not too far from everything,the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lovely bar and seating area ,we would definatley stay there again,it’s also only a 10minute walk from the train station,don’t bother with taxis. Plenty of cafes and restaurants near by as well ."

"They didn’t have our room and didn’t notify us. They did find another room for us. All of the staff seemed like it was their first day. None could find how to rent bikes. Check in. Get ice book a car. They need to mix senior staff with new. Not fair to the young people learning"

"This hotel is near the river cruise ship docks and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is well located for exploring Amsterdam, or travelling out from there. The room was of good size and very comfortable. A great hotel for our short stay!"

"The hotel is one of most unique I’ve seen, the decor is wonderfully detailed. However, sleeping was hardly easy. Our room faced the back of the building, and the noise from the restaurants below was very loud. The windows are not proofed for that type of noise. Last night was a party that ended at 2 am. At the same time, you can hear people walking upstairs in their room, and it’s really loud and bothersome."
