You would put in what floor you needed and it would tell you which elevator to use. The room was gorgeous! "What a great place! The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the free jazz night and the sauna. Enjoyed the hot tubs but jets and hotter water would make it better. There are so many things happening there- it’s upbeat and socially aware. The staff love their jobs and it shows. I’ve already recommended it several times. "

"The check-in process was bad as we have to wait in line for almost 40 minutes. There was not enough staff (only three at the front desk) and there was a big group that arrived right before we did. "This is not your average boring chain hotel. The decor is quirky, front desk hours limitless and there is NO ELEVATOR but we schlepped our bags up and down from our 4th floor room and had a great time. The location is at the intersection of 2 canals and is within an easy walk of most of old Amsterdam and public transit. The staff is super friendly and helpful. A great hotel find! "
