"Beautiful hotel in a quiet, scenic part of the city. The number 9 tram takes you from the Hague central directly to a stop across from the hotel. Hop on that tram again and get to the beach in about 10 minutes. There's a nice grocery store about a 15 minute walk along the canal and through an authentic Dutch residential area. A couple of points: to get on/off public transit requires scanning your bank or credit card. Had I known this in advance, I might have brought a card for transit use...

"De locatie is echt fantastisch! Maar daar wordt ook een behoorlijke prijs voor betaald, het hotel an sich is echt aan het nodige onderhoud toe. De deur van het balkon sloot niet meer, de greep is gewoon af, het bed was helemaal doorgezakt en eigenlijk alles is gedateerd. Ook het ontbijt is gewoon nirt het geld waard, brood is droog en alles leek "oud." Nee 5* is het zeker niet meer, de kurzaal is mooi, maar voor de rest komt het echt niet verder dan 2* of 3*. "A bit out of the way unless you have business with the international organizations near by but an excellent facility with really great staff. Breakfast could improve with fresh juice and more protein options. Comfy rooms with good amenities. "

"Positiv: Sauber, neuer Eingangsbereich und Frühstücksbereich, nah am Wasser, super schöne Aussicht, Pool und Sauna Bereich Negativ: Duschgel und Shampoo waren leer, in der Kaffeemaschine waren noch die alten gebrauchten Kapseln vom Vorgänger, Sauna kostet 10€ pro Nutzung, Parkmöglichkeiten im Hotel vorhanden allerdings nur durch vorherige Reservierung, weitere Parkmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Umgebung vorhanden, die Kosten belaufen sich überall zwischen 35€ - 40€ pro Tag "

"I recommend this hotel. I will return, when next in the area. There were drinks and treats in the foyer. The pool area was clean and well managed. We missed the tulips, but it would be a great spot to see them. Come in April to see them. There were games to entertain yourselves and areas to sit and socialise and a piano near the pool! Pets are allowed and there were quite a few but they were quiet and well behaved."

"Das Personal war soooo nett und hilfsbereit! Das Zimmer hatte alles was ich brauchte: ein kuscheliges Bett, ein sauberes Bad, einen Kühlschrank zum Aufbewahren von Essen und einen Wasserkocher (den ich allerdings gar nicht, wie gedacht, benutzen musste). Es gibt jederzeit Kaffee und Tee vor free im Hotel unten. Das finde ich einen tollen Service!!!"

"I had a lovely single room that looked out into a rooftop. Unfortunately the entire hotel had access to the rooftop. I was surprised to be lying in bed and suddenly having strangers walk by my room and looking in. There was also a slightly chemical smell in my room which disappeared slightly during my stay. The breakfast was great."

"Do to circumstances out of our control we had to cancel our family vacation ! Due to war time and uncertain circumstances! Out of our control ! We were not compensated for our need to cancel and there for very upset for not at least getting some money back ! "
