"Front desk was extremely helpful on arrival. Adult pool very limited."

"The lack of carpeting in the rooms was uncomfortable and made the room cold during the night. It was loud in the hallways in the morning with people's voices echoing. The bed was comfortable. Didn't make it to breakfaat. Parking was $15, crazy to pay for parking in a suburban area like Fernandina Beach. Added more than 20% to the cost of the room. Think we'll stick to Hampton Inn, better value and not like a college dorm."

"I loved the history of this property. It dates back to before the Civil War. There are no elevators just stairs so be sure you are able to walk up at least one flight of stairs or more. You can request a room on the bottom floor. The breakfast was wonderful with seating inside or outside. I will stay again if in the area."
