"Great stay"

"Room had no real seating. No storage. No drawers. No place to put an open suitcase. Not conducive for anything other than a one night stay."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by the room cleaning service. I called daily to request housekeeping, but each time I returned to an unserviced or partially serviced room, disrupting our stay with a newborn. When I raised the issue with management, I had to wait during a “business meeting.” The manager walked by to watch TV in the lobby instead of addressing the problem promptly. He did compensate me for the inconvenience and promised the room would be serviced first thing...

"We loved our stay! Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was very helpful. We loved the space we had in our room."

"The moment we walked in the door we felt welcome. Check in was quick and easy and she asked if we were going to the concert at the nearby venue that night and recommended a shuttle service that make it much easier to get in and out of the concert venue. The room was beautiful and clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. Staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again in the future."

"The staff members at reception and Griffin Restaurant were fantastic! Sherri, our restaurant server, was the best, always cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was good, with healthy choices. At check-in on our first night, Maria was wonderful! She gave detailed instructions to make our stay pleasant and was welcoming in every way. The only mild annoyance was the lack of temperature control in the room. The thermostat was not working properly."

"The room was clean. There was an odor...all fine. The biggest drawback, I think the rooms are not very insulated...one of our neighbors (perhaps the floor below) had their TV on all night We could not sleep. They turned the TV off at about 5a and then had a very loud conversation. Just a bummer."

"The Hyatt Royal Oak is a nice hotel situated in the tony suburb of Royal Oak. Our stay was very pleasant. Our room was nice. The breakfast was fine. We didn't use the gym or lounge. The price is higher than I would expect for this type of hotel but there is a dearth of hotel choices in the area. I would stay there if I visit Royal Oak again."

"I was very happy with the cleanliness of the property, helpfulness of staff, and the room was super cute and spacious. Looks aside, I was disappointed in my stay. Room 339 does not have hot water. We ran the shower for 10+ minutes and it was as cold as hose water. The only way to get the water to heat up was by continuously running the tap, and even then it would turn ice cold the second the shower was turned on. Sleep was difficult with uncomfortable thick and firm pillows, and you can hear...

"I was shocked by the condition of the bathroom upon arrival. There were hairs everywhere, making it obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected. The lack of quality control is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the property’s standards. Save yourself the frustration and do not check in here."
