This intense perfume, highly fragranced cleaner they used in our room did not dissipate until after two full days. The bathroom sink was clogged, the exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work, the shower gel dispenser was totally empty! Bed Sheets and pillows were cheap and poor quality. "This place has an old school shore vibe, which we love. Everything seemed well maintained and clean. Location is spot on for easy access to many attractions in the area. Room 138 could really use a new mattress. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"I highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant and beach bar is right on the beach and the drinks are excellent! The rooms are so comfortable and clean. It’s worth the price! Very professional staff. My kids were sad to leave. The drinks at the beach bar attracted to the hotel are some of the best I’ve ever had!"

"The property was fairly rundown and not very appealing. The room and building we were in is in desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately it’s the only hotel in the immediate area. Staff was very nice and courteous though."

"Stayed 3 nights with family, children included. We go to Surfside Motel annually, sometimes twice a summer. The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. My children and their friends enjoy the pool. It’s located on the main ocean block. Across from the boardwalk and Lucky Leo’s. It’s a Jersey Shore motel so that’s what you need to expect. But totally worth a stay!"

"The rooms were clean and it definitely was OK. It’s just like the property outside is very dirty garbage everywhere we stayed in a non-smoking room but the whole place smell like smoke. There were people there that kept putting rocks in the doors to leave them open so they could get back in when we had a key to get into the door so I did not like that about the whole stay"

"Lots of false information. Breakfast is not available in the restaurant. Lunch in the restaurant is not always available depends on the day. Bar doesn’t generally open until 4pm. Pool is small and indoor. Hotel is not as “grand” as they describe. Room in typical Holiday Inn. Expensive to stay there."
