"first day of our arrival, power went off. We were left with no running water and dark and unusable bathroom. I asked the front desk to provide us with candle or portable light in order to be able to use the bathroom. I did not received any help."

"I booked this hotel for a getaway for my son and I specifically because it advertised as having an outdoor pool and the weather was beautiful. Upon arrival, I was incredibly disappointed to find out the pool was closed. To make matters worse, each person at the front desk had a different excuse (the pump was broken, they were waiting on an inspection, it was my fault for not asking if they had an outdoor pool and my favourite "its a seasonal pool and July isnt the season we open the pool"). "First impression - dead plants and unkept flower beds in the front of the hotel and dirty windows. The hotel is rundown and had an odd musty smell which was layered with frebreeze. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, or sink plug. We had to request towels as there were none in the room upon arrival. Furniture and fixtures show signs of excessive wear and large visible stains in hallway carpet. Bathroom shower had visible cracks in the base. Green algae in the pool area on the tiles. Guest...

"This is not a well-maintained property. For example, the staircases were dirty, and the room smelled stale. If you need to sleep for a night, it should be fine, but for a longer stay, please choose something else. While we are not very picky with the food, the free breakfast had very little variety. We will not be choosing or recommending this hotel."

"This is an older hotel with new owners who are trying to make it nicer for guests. The rooms by the lake have great access to swimming and nice little deck for enjoying the lake view. You have access to a high quality gym. Owner went out of his way to help me find a place to charge my EV. Good price for this part of Ontario, would recommend."
