"Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting"

"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. "A peaceful and charming stay that felt more like a true B&B than a hotel. The grounds were beautiful and serene, with birds and animal sounds each morning, and the setting felt authentic to the city. It was easy to find, with convenient parking and just a short walk to the village. The loft suite had everything we needed, and the staff was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp. The only downside was the layout—no shower (bathtub only) and the toilet located downstairs—which was a bit challenging...
