"The Sweetfontein Boutique Farm is away from town and so peaceful and quiet, so refreshing! The farm has several different cottages with different amenities to suit your needs. "The room was quite cramped, but it looked exactly like the pictures, so I knew what to expect. It was clean and had the basic amenities needed for a short stay. However, I do feel that it’s a bit pricey considering the size of the room and the amenities provided. Overall, it’s a convenient option for a quick overnight stop."

"The rustic but luxurious hotel was amazing with nicely-sized room & bath. The patio was large & quiet. Common areas were spacious & food was excellent. The only complaint was the shower which was a continuous dribble of water rather than a stream."

"It's very quiet, very calm and very well appointed. I had a luxurious chalet with a mini kitchen and fast internet. Do bring food with you as there's not a restaurant at the hotel and you'll have to go back into Carnarvon to eat otherwise - where options are limited. Bring cat treats too if you want to be popular with the feline greeters The host is very welcoming and you'll enjoy seeing the ostriches on this working farm "
