"We stayed in armadillo room. Rooms are staggered on the hill , our room was the highest. View is fantastic. Room was nice. Great hot water,lighting,sockets ok, small heater which was definitely needed at night. Room cleaned everyday. Staff were nice, left you alone. Resident cat was friendly. The breakfast was traditional,with a bowl of fruit. It was fine but got a little boring. Other choices you had to pay for and were a little expensive for us. The breakfast got busy and there's only two staff on , I think sometimes they need another helping hand . I would recommend this place , there's a little noise from the road but it's not bad. Tuk tuk into town is 15 Q per person."

"Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay."

"The location is fantastic with great lake and volcano views and a short walk to the Main Street. The hotel however is v average. The rooms are v dated, the bathroom smelt of drains and overall it’s noisy. Average at best. "

"The staff who greeted us at check in was rude, but most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and included. Coffee was amazing. I drank it without creamer and enjoyed it. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, and the water was hot. However, the water flow is very slow and will take a while to rinse shampoo/conditioner out of long hair. To note—some of the employees don’t speak Spanish well, only their dialect. My husband, who speaks 3 languages, had some difficulty with communication (some of the employees, not all). The hotel landscape is beautiful. "

"Great location, beautiful hotel grounds, nice pool with water slide, and great views of Lake Atlitan from the hotel property. Parking is free and plenty of space (there are two parking lots). Only downside is there is no fan, fridge or AC, so it can be humid and hot. "
