"Overall, I think it was a pretty nice hotel and I would come back based on the location alone. The pool was pretty nice and the amenities were pretty okay. Biggest downside was that I was towing my small 5x8 utility trailer behind my SUV on my way to Laconia. When I parked my vehicle in the valet parking spot as I was told to do since the parking garages do not allow trailers, the gentleman that that parked us or took care of us that worked for the hotel said he was going to have to charge me...

"We enjoyed our overnight at Lamie's. We stayed in the older section and the brick wall and 4 poster beds added a homey, authentic feel to the vibe of the Old Salt Tavern next door. Beds comfortable, room clean. The rooms & bathroom are a little small but perfect if your plan doesn;t include spending lots of time in your room. We came to visit friends in the area and had lunch and dinner at the Old Salt which was really convenient to just come downstairs rather than having to drive somewhere...

"The staff member who checked us in was so accommodating and helpful. We had our 94 year old mother with us in a w/c. SHE was able to get us a first floor room at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this place !"

"Non smoking rooms smelled like someone smoke there. I asked for a coffee at 9:15 and was told coffee is only available until 9. AC in one room had no remote."
