"He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat.
It isn’t.
The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs.
The interior was filled with flies - they keep landing on our heads and food. The owner’s acknowledged...

"THIS IS A HOSTEL! So if you like a hostel, then by all means. I’m not against hostels, but the ad for this place needs to be clear that this is one. And Expedia should make it clear that it is one. It even said since I was a VIP I got free drinks provided which I didn’t get cuz where they put them? In the communal fridge? My girlfriend was definitely not expecting that either and I showed her the listing too. Luckily we had our own room upstairs, and I don’t think the other bedrooms upstairs...

"Room was clean, staff was friendly. The beds were really uncomfortable, it felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Lots of options for the complimentary breakfast. Halfway through our stay they put signs up where if you're staying multiple nights you must request your room to be serviced prior to 10am or it will not automatically be done. So if you're looking for your bed made or fresh towels, just a heads up..."
