"The pool was closed. I booked the stay for the pool and the views from the infinity pool. The staff was nice, but I was not happy overall. I booked a 2-night stay with Expedia. I canceled the first night. I never got a refund."

They 'lost' one of the bookings for our party, so everyone had to pile into my room--including a child-- in the wee hours of the morning while I contacted Expedia, who mercifully was able to get them to actually recognize and respect our booking, which I had verified by phone and email before arrival. It smells like a scam around Carnival, though we were not there for carnival. Buyer beware as you may show up and they may have no record of your booking...

"Do not recommend. When we arrived the man was rude took us to 2 rooms that had no sheets or pillows. The rooms had a funny smell. The 3rd room was better but not good had sheets fridge that didn’t work. No covers just a thin sheet. Only good thing was the driver with the gold teeth who ran me to the store. This place shouldn’t be listed on this site. It doesn’t meet anyone standards "

"Great for carnival, but it is a bit of a walk from Everything and taxis are hard to get so you should try to get your own taxi driver. But even still is hard to navigate through the roads so your best bet is to walk. I would definitely stay here again, but I would look into closer hotels, but I enjoyed my stay. The staff is very nice."

"Rooms need to be soundproofed, television inoperable, mouldy leaky shower, rank shower curtain, dirty water in the sink and toilet, lecherous alcoholic, ineffective staff, no appropriate storage space for clothes or toiletries."

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. "
