"Being unfamiliar with the Pismo Beach area, I picked the wrong place for what I wanted to experience there. I was looking for easy beach access, this hotel was on a bluff, I had wanted to hear waves crashing and instead I heard the highway traffic. I didn't see any close places for breakfast in the morning and we we were told that the restaurant at Spyglass was closed. "We stayed for multiple days and had two different rooms. We stayed in the patio room for two nights, and due to availability, had to switch to the fireplace room for our final night. This was a slight hassle, especially since the front desk initially made it seem as though we might be able to remain in the same room. It was also frustrating that we were expected to vacate the first room before the next room was available, which would have left us without a room during the transition. The patio...

"The facility is very nice. However, since I booked through Expedia I got a very old room , clean but run down for sure. I also had ants in my bathroom. When I called to let them know they just sent a man with some bug spray and then our room smelled of poison. We did enjoy our dinner there the food was excellent and also our breakfast. I did have to pay for breakfast as again I booked through Expedia. I did not even think to call direct. I know better now. They even gave me a card that says...
