"I booked the property on Expedia and the confirmation stated check in was available from 11am-4pm. I arrived at 12:20pm to check in and was informed the hotel charges an additional $50 for checking in before 4pm. The Expedia confirmation didn’t indicate an additional fee. But, for a hotel that said "recently renovated" on its main web page, the place seemed to need a little more love: the room was mostly clean. The paint/doors had scuffs from many guests. The AC was loud, but worked well. Tub had a few stray hairs in it and a ring of dirt near the faucet, which came up easily with a Clorox wipe I packed with me. "There was a funky smell to the room one night and they offered to bring up air freshener. It cleared by morning. Our tub didn’t feel particularly safe for showers. The tub sloped and there wasn’t much grippy coating left on the bottom for balance on a slippery tub bottom. Breakfast was ok but the ice machine was wicked loud if you sat by it."
