"First night regular room . The view was great but bathroom was the particularly new nor meticulate. Check in staff were courteous and friendly but dining staff not particularly friendly especially when tried ask a question. Send night was a suite room and therefore the decor and bathroom was much better . 4/5 grade seems very fitting"

"From the moment you click on the website, its premise is based on a lie, for ‘Lakeside Te Anau Accommodation’ it is not! The room is relatively clean, no doubt helped by the bed bug warnings emblazoned on the room walls. It is rather quaint, the room decor and bedspreads reminding me of my great grandma’s place, bless her soul, with warnings about fines for not doing the dishes to an appropriate standard again reminding us of the history of a bygone era.
