At first glance, it looks like it's clean, but when you get into the room and start setting up your things, you notice that there's dust and crumbs along the baseboards. There's dust and stains in the bathrooms, as well as mold in the corners of the showers. There were streaks of something on the wall, and some of the chairs had sticky stuff on them. "Staff was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately we spoke with one of them about some concerns in our room (Furnace fan could not be turned on to manual and stove hood fan and light had no power) this was a major issue as the HVAC system was EXTREMELY loud, so when we were trying to sleep it went from 30db to 60db INSTANTLY. This happened approximately every 7 minutes. Every time it kicked on it woke us up, when it did we noticed the temp had risen drastically, then it runs for 10 minutes to...

"Both the check-in and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was clean, modernized, and good value for money. The only negative was that there were people in the parking lot sitting in their cars smoking what smelled like marijuana. I understand that the hotel isn’t responsible for people’s behavior in the parking lot, so I don’t consider this a reflection of the hotel itself. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again."

"We had a great stay! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, answering all questions. The front desk staff the night we arrived also had a fantastic lobby playlist. :) We enjoyed the pool and the bed was comfortable. Everything was neat and tidy. I had to leave early for an event and didn't get to partake in hot breakfast, but my partner enjoyed it. We will definitely consider Comfort Inn Duluth West for future overnight stays in the area!"
