"Location, location! This hotel is about 10 minutes from the national park which was awesome! It was clean and refreshed. There was a strange noise in our room which was disconcerting for me. There were a couple of chairs outside the front of the room which was nice. Parking was a breeze in front of the hotel. We never saw any staff members because we arrived after 6. There is a nice little café a short walk away. We all loved our meals and ice cream."

"When we walked into the room it smelled horrible. We checked for bed bugs like we do at every hotel, and we found pubes, long black hairs, what appeared to be eyelashes, and dog hair matted into the mattress. There was food caked onto the remote and food splatter on the walls and on the desk. We moved rooms and it was a tad bit better. We only stayed to sleep and get up early to travel back home. Don’t recommend staying there!"

"Nice, clean, comfortable room. Used the pool and fitness room which were nice. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Appreciated the covered parking areas. Great experience and would stay again!"

"When we checked in, our bath tub looked like someone had just showered after working on a diesel engine. They said it was the "hard water" in Chico and sent someone to clean it. It looked better but not great. They did give us two complimentary breakfast coupons for the dirty bathroom which I found nice, especially since we didn't ask."
