"Had a really good week at the Royal Beacon. The hotel and staff were great. Nothing was too much bother. Lovely location with a short walk to a decent restaurant. Only downside was the parking which most of the time would have been impossible to find. Luckily booked on of the few hotel parking spaces. Only about 8 spaces so l would recommend booking early. It’s a pity that the hotel will be closing in October to be turned into apartments. A sad goodbye because we would definitely gone back...

"I stayed for a few days in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. It was on the top floor and the stairways leading to it were a bit ropey, but when I got inside I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment was dated but amazingly spacious and clean with everything I needed and more. It had a very handy kitchen area, a dining and sitting area, along with a spacious bedroom with an en-suite and a further bathroom. The view of the sea was amazing. The leisure facilities were exceptional with a lovely...

"For what we paid, this was excellent value for money. The room was a little dated, but perfectly comfortable and the bathroom has been returned very nicely. Really helpful staff, super clean room and breakfast was relatively basic, but had several options and was plentiful. It doesn't have many frills.....but you are paying a no frills price. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again"
