"Lovely historic property. Room was comfortable and clean. Views from the breakfast room were incredible. The staff were nice, but not able to resolve issue with television not working at all. (It was rainy when we were there so would have liked it during down time.) Nice spread at buffet."

"Really a great option if you want to stay in Vaxholm for one night. Kids had fun. But generally: 1) the breakfast supplies started a bit too late for early travellers, not too helpful as for the instructions on the direction; 2) no private bathroom (nothing wrong from the descriptions though). Also, the limitation of leaving the island is the schedule of the ferry so do plan ahead:) Enjoy your stay anyway!"

"Really comfy, loved the window seat in the room, perfect for a nap on arrival. Felt at home at the Downtown Camper. Had drinks, breakfast and dinner there and all very good, staff were friendly. Bar was relaxed and we felt comfortable enough to play a game of cards there. Spa was a lovely perk (you have to pay extra) as was the fitness area, with a separate area with mats and a great view for those who prefer yoga to the treadmill. Short walk to station."

"Das ausgesprochen vielfältige Frühstück, bei dem für jeden etwas dabei ist, ist ein Highlight zum Start in den Tag. Und sobald etwas zur Neige geht, wird nachgefüllt. Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich, umsichtig, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Juniorsuite ist sehr geräumig, das Bett bequem, ohne zu weich zu sein. Ungünstig ist nur, dass der Schrank sehr schmal ist und die Koffer daher nicht ausgepackt werden können. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen."

"Have stayed here a few times and unfortunately it has lost its shine, little bit run down, rooms are not very modern, the breakfast has gone from fantastic to average. The reason we booked Sign was to use the pool but it was faulty and not open so not a great experience. The staff is really friendly so that's a plus."
