"The room was clean and it felt very cozy. It was a beautiful view of the water. You had your own patio with chairs facing the water. They had cookies and apple cider when you checked into the place. We liked it so much, we booked another night. We would definitely go back to stay, and we recommend staying here. Another bonus, NO extra charge for my dog!! Everything was great!!"

"This inn is a great place to stay to see everything beautiful in Maine. The balcony had beautiful views. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of parking and easy to enter and exit the property. The highlight was the complimentary breakfast which included wonderful and delicious quiche and bakery items. It was a great way to start the day in Maine"

"We were looking for a place close to Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park, without having to pay the high prices. The Fireside Inn in Belfast is only about an hour drive to Bar Harbor and it exceeded our expectations. We werent sure what to expect as we drove in through Belfast and the small towns. They really do a nice job with the landscaping and entrance on the front side of the hotel and the backside is amazing. We had a first floor room so were able to walk out of our room and walk right...

"I thought breakfast was included in our stay, it was not. Twenty five dollars per person was a bit steep for Breakfast. The complimentary cookies and coffee were delicious."

"Really loved the property. Stunning location and well maintained rooms and surrounding areas. We liked the fact that all of the properties were well spaced out and it all felt very personable. Would definitely recommend."

"It was a nice overnight stay for our needs (our handicapped friend, my wife and me). The manager was very helpful and provide very good service, as well."

"Lovely room"

"The host was excellent- gave us great dinner recommendations, very helpful, and baked us muffins and brownies to go! Amazing stay!"

"Wesley and family are the new owners and have been making some wonderful upgrades to the hotel. Our room is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in! No dust, floors were spotless, smelled clean and the decor is perfectly cute! The shower was new (water pressure just ok), new flooring, new bed linens and curtains. It was very cozy. Updated locks - programmable and overall very safe. I would definitely stay there again."

"Very very pleasant stay. Cozy and comfortable bed, unique interior and I loved seeing the ocean from our window! Will return whenever I visit again!"

"It was very clean and comfortable but the local band playing in the Tavern attached was phenominal"

"Our stay with Carl and Kathy was awesome! The Jeweled Turret Inn delivers all the best parts of a classic B&B experience. The house was great, our room was perfect and breakfast was delicious! Thank you!"

"Our stay at the Victorian by the Sea was truly dreamy and our favorite part of our visit to Maine. Patrik and Becky (the new owners) have mastered preserving the charm of the property, while still curating a boutique experience with very thoughtful and intentional updates. From the record collection, to the idyllic grounds (inside and out), board games, wine collection, and perfectly homemade breakfasts, it was just so cozy and perfect that we could have spent our whole trip on the property. "Very minimal breakfast. The muffins were good. There are many steps to get to rooms... in car you can't carry luggage up steps. We were able to. My husband is strong."

"The owner greeted us and showed us personally around. The property is lovely and we enjoyed our overnight stay. The room we had did not have a tv and o hadn’t noticed that in the description so that was my fault. We also ran out of hot water with two of us taking a shower. But there were no vacancies so there might have been heavy consumption of water in the morning. Overall we liked our stay and would return if we are in the area."

"Quiet little lodge! Small, clean room with just what is needed, and no TV! AWESOME shared kitchen. Chris, the owner, was out of town but still helped me via text and phone call. Great place I would go back!"

"Based on the pictures online, we thought the cottage we were renting had a water view. It does not have a water view. I would not have paid $300/night if I had known there was not a water view."

"Great location! Built in the early 1900’s so no lift. Awesome chef and restaurant. Breakfast was outstanding."

"The Spouter Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking the ocean. The rooms are quiet and beautifully appointed. The breakfast and daily cookies are superb. It was a pleasure for us to stay in such an idyllic setting, with such a friendly staff and excellent amenities. We highly recommend it!"
