"We traveled with our dogs for the first time and Red Roof Inn's pet fee is substantially cheaper than most hotels. One place charges $75 per pet, while RRI the first pet is free and $15 for each dog after that. The place is very affordable, was very clean and they put us near the grassy area as well. We will absolutely be using RRI in the future when traveling with our dogs. "

"The pet fee per dog is very high. We already paid about $150 for the room but were told there would be a $75 fee for each of our 3 dogs. The breakfast is really basic with no hot foods, the hotel needs updates and is very overpriced for the condition of the rooms and facility. The pet area is not close to the hotel as well. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Wytheville a week later and it was substantially cheaper, the grass area is much closer and the rooms are about the same condition. At RRI...

"Hotel was clean everywhere. Looked practically new. There are lots of options for restaurants nearby. Staff was beyond friendly. Breakfast was really good and fresh and area was kept clean and stocked. Mountain view was nice. "

"Mmmhh, not the typical Hampton experience. Upon check in, the lobby seemed unusually small and with a group of 3-4 checking in ahead of us and my group of 6 it was tight; although I know this was probably an unusual situation-not a complaint just an observation. Parts of the hotel were being renovated while we were there and looks like it is going to be very nice; however, outside (back/side) it was the messiest site I have ever seen; this is speaking to the contractors doing the renovation...
