"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."

"The air con could not keep room warm enough at night. Mould in the bathroom, doors would jam, cupboards are falling apart, etc. Barely 2 star accommodation. In major need of upgrades and maintenance."

The purpose of staying at a hotel or motel is not only having a place to sleep, but also receiving services such as making the bed, emptying the rubbish bins, changing towels, and keeping everything in order. Unfortunately, more and more hotels are no longer providing these services."
