2/10 Terrible

"I did not get the room I booked which was one of the more expensive rooms. They moved me to the room I booked the following day but not until 5 pm and I was leaving at 4 am, so the suite with terrace was not worth the price. NO UPGRADE OR compensation for the hassle and inconvenience other than 2 drinks on the house. The Nespresso maker was outfitted with knock off pods which tasted like cigarette ashes. Fortunately, I had the genuine Nespresso pods in my suitcase. Is that even legitimate….did Nespresso cut them a deal on their coffee makers either the understanding that only genuine Nespresso pods would be used? The suite bathrooms were poorly designed with single only sinks and showers inside of a very deep bathtub. The hotel lobby is quite nice and the cafe is exquisite; the nightly music in the lobby and cafe very enjoyable."

"Good location and spacious apartment. Not sure if hotels / apartments in Budapest are like this, but while the apartment had all the amenities, the quality of the same were OK (not great). For example: Washer / Dryer was there, but it looked beaten Nd would actually start wobbling and moving in the bathroom when drying. The shower was super uncomfortable to use, almost felt like a water cannon that would rip through your skin. Overall, we had a pleasant stay as the location and the spaciousness of the apartment made up for the other drawbacks."

"The hostel is lovely and in a great location. It has a big communal kitchen and laundry. They make fantastic toasted sandwiches and the bar is great. Bets of all this is an amazing location right in the heart of everything. On the down side there was a salsa party which was very noisy in our room until after midnight (1:30am) on one night and a lot of loud drunk girls on the next. So be prepared with earplugs and expect the noise. "
