"We stayed for three nights over a University of Michigan football weekend. We booked last minute, so there weren’t many hotel options. Now I know why DoubleTree was still available. First, our room was advertised as having two queen beds; they were double beds. The room was dated and tired. On the surface it was clean, but the tile and moldings needed a good scrubbing. Our room was not cleaned the entire time we were there. The final day, we tracked down fresh towels on our own.

"Sometimes parking is tough as often times road crews stay here with huge trucks/equipment and take up a majority of spots. Not the hotels fault but I have encountered this a few times. Still great location to stay when doing business in/near AA"

"The room was very very clean and in excellent shape. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet for the night which was so nice. It is a nice central place to stay.
It would be so nice to have a coffee pot in the room but luckily we were right by the lobbiy but most people aren't. The reservation lady could have been a bit more unpleasant but she did give us the information we needed and that's all we have to ask for right."

"We needed to check in early and the front desk cheerfully assisted us with this. The kitchen staff was also very helpful when we came in late and asked for food in the last hour of their day. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Ann Arbor, but prefer to be closer to the mall and grocery store rather than downtown. It is away from the hustle and bustle and very peaceful!"
