"Great house with a nice location and private large parking. Very good communication with the owner, easy check in. The cottage was in great condition with a fully equipped kitchen. Cleanliness 10/10. Shops with groceries in short driving distance, lots of tourist destinations in the area with hiking possibilities. "The check in and out very fast, reception staff very friendly and helpful, gave us a few tips about the village and activities around, made an appointment on our behalf with the head of village culture committee to give us a presentation about fujaras and playing on these instruments (free of charge). The Mucha's Wellness was fantastic, even better than the beer spa in Vršky brewery we also took. Parking is secure, centre of village is 5 mins walk so is the statue of Janošík. Breakfast was...

"I stayed for 2 days in Žilina, the city where my wife was born, and this hotel truly stood out. It is by far the most convenient and iconic hotel in all of Žilina. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to the main square, restaurants, shops, and cultural sites. The building itself has a timeless charm and feels like part of Žilina’s identity. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-designed, offering everything I needed for a short stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations and local insights. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh options to start the day. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, history, and convenience in a way that few places can. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Žilina."
