"Beautiful old building with wonderful views. The staff are genuinely friendly rather than just professionally courteous. For those of us arriving after a long day's drive across France, the restaurant is a godsend. The menu is small, but the food and wine excellent, and it's such a relief not having to get back into the car to go in search of dinner. A good sturdy breakfast sets one up for the long drive south."

"It's a good hotel, but it does feel corporate. We felt like just one of many thousands of guests. Pay the $$$, be in this hotel, and that's it. Parking person spoke no English, which led to misunderstandings at check-in. Spa is good (although the jacuzzi and sauna were not operational), but it requires a daily reservation to secure a concrete time -- and spots are taken quickly. You need to remember each evening to book for the next day or else you don't get a spot. Location is excellent -- 2...
"We stayed here while hiking the TMB and it was perfection. The food was fantastic we had both lunch and dinner. I will talk about the breakfast buffet that's included for the rest of my life. The pool was pretty and good for soaking achey legs as it was not heated."
