"The hotel had no hot water. The restaurant does not have dinner Monday and they referred us to a restaurant in town where the food was very disappointing. It is hard to get into the hotel (gate - you have to call) and hard to get out (the gate again / hard to find the stand with the button to open it - why can’t the reception person point these out when you arrive? But the worst was no hot water.."

Guillaume and his family have created a beautiful environment for relaxation. They have GREAT design taste - functionality & style. Our room was so impeccably clean, peaceful, and beautiful. "L'hôtel est en travaux, il faut faire tout le tour du bâtiment de nuit dans la boue pour aller à la réception. Nuit sans chauffage. Second nuit, une chaleur suffoquant le soir, puis la nuit le chauffage et coupé et le matin on se réveille avec des glaçons au nez. La chambre d'hôtel est d'une décoration des années 90, mais très propre, ma chambre était grande. Pas possible de diner sur place. Le prix est etrement important au vu des problémes"

"We so enjoyed our stay at Chez Michel. Our host Michel was both professional and warm. We had a big room with comfortable bed overlooking the garden. Breakfast was included so we ate baguettes, croissants, coffee, tea, juice, homemade jams and yogurt. Bottled water and fruit was always available. Plus, it is only 2 blocks from the train station on the quiet side of center of Montpellier. "
